STOPAIDS
Protest against cuts to AIDS funding
On 12th March 2025, STOPAIDS held a demonstration in Parliament Square, London to protest against cuts to AIDS funding.
We stand in solidarity with activists mobilising outside of Parliament and fighting the deadly cuts to UK aid.
The government has other means to increase its revenues, rather than stripping the UK's contribution to saving lives and building a safer world for all.

Join the Rally: Tell the Chancellor to Tax the Super-Rich
Inequality is rising, the climate crisis is worsening, and public services are on the brink. We need significant public investment to address these pressing issues, but we’re repeatedly told there’s no money. Instead, the government has slashed funding for aid, climate action, and vital public services.
Meanwhile, the wealth of the super-rich continues to surge, largely untaxed.
At the end of March, Chancellor Rachel Reeves will announce the government’s spring budget. She could use this opportunity to raise taxes on the obscene wealth of the super-rich and direct those funds to these urgent challenges, or she could double down on further cuts.
As campaigners, charities, and trade unionists, we’re coming together to send a clear message to the Chancellor: The money is there – don’t cut public services, tax the super-rich!
