Baroness Sue Masham 1935 - 2023

 

Sue Masham died on March 12th this year. A Patron of CAPS since 2012 Sue was a valued advisor to the CAPS Board. She was the longest serving female member of the House of Lords and a founding member of the APPG on HIV and AIDS. The current director, provided Sue with information regarding the experience and treatment of PLWH and she listened attentively to CAPS members whom she met on several occasions in Parliament. Sue was a great supporter and champion of the rights of people with disabilities. May she receive her heavenly reward after a long and active life dedicated to justice and equality.
